Dr. B James Lichtblau (MBBS FRACGP)
Dr Lichtblau is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners - he is also a family physician with admitting rights at Cabrini Hospital. He is a founding member of this practice and is particularly interested in the care of elderly patients and family medicine. Dr. Lichtblau performs specific surgeries in the clinic and has an special expertise in the removal of small lesions and spots.
He is available for consultations at the surgery everyday except Wednesday.
In late 2011, Dr. Lichtblau won an Award for Teaching Excellence from Monash University. This award demonstrates his commitment to high teaching standards of medical students and future doctors. Dr. Lichtblau is heavily involved in teaching medical students on their General Practice rotations, both from Monash University and the University of Melbourne.
Dr. Severyn Praszkier (MBBS)
Dr. Praszkier is a member of the Australian College of General Practitioners and is a Family Physician with admitting rights to Cabrini Hospital. He is a senior member of this practice and has a particular interest in paediatrics, respiratory medicine and family care. Dr. Praszkier performs cryotherapy (‘freezing’) of warts and skin allergy testing.
He is available for consultations at the surgery every day except Tuesday.
Dr. Praszkier is fluent in Polish.
Dr. Fiona Waters (MBBS FRACGP)
Fiona Waters was born in UK and studied Medicine at Barts and The London Medical College. She graduated in 1997 having completed a Batchelors degree in Sociology as applied to Medicine in addition to her Medical degree. She then completed her General Practice training in London and gained Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners. She moved to Brisbane in 2004 and worked part time as a GP before moving to Melbourne.
Fiona has been working at Ormond Medical Centre since 2006. She has a special interests in Women's Health, Mental Health and Preventative Medicine but enjoys all aspects of General Practice including being a visiting Doctor to a number of Aged Care Facilities. Fiona has two teenage children and in her spare time enjoys being out in nature, running, walking and gardening.
Dr. Daniel Lichtblau (MBBS FRACGP) B. Pharm (Hons)
Daniel was a Pharmacist before pursuing his true passion in Medicine. His interests include children’s health, young families, preventative care, aged care/geriatrics and medication optimisation. In addition to the clinic, he works at Aged Care Facilities and Rehab Hospitals.
Daniel will be available for consultations on weekdays between 1-6pm and on alternate Saturday mornings. Outside of medicine, Daniel enjoys spending time with his wife, son and 2 dogs (Max and Bella).
